Bio-Energy-Expo 2012
Trade Exhibition for Biogas Technology and Management

18 – 20 May 2012 in Nanjing/China

including 3rd International Bio-Energy Conference on the topic “Industrialised
Biogas Production” on 19 May 2012

In association with the China Animal Agriculture Association (CAAA) and following the successful premiere event, DLG International is organising again Bio-Energy-Expo, the trade exhibition for biogas technology and management in China. The exhibition will take place at the same time and venue as the well-established China Animal Husbandry & Feed Industry Expo (CAHE) in Nanjing, China, from 18 to 20 May 2012. A half-day conference with top-flight speakers will complement the exhibition.

Participation in Bio-Energy-Expo will open up this investment-hungry market to you and give you the opportunity to establish valuable contacts.
Your attendance at the exhibition automatically includes participation in the “Industrialised Biogas Production” Conference on 19 May 2012. This event would be an excellent opportunity to successfully present your company to the Asian market.

Bio-Energy-Expo offers European exhibitors the opportunity

  • to play a crucial role in planning, building and operating biogas plants and modern technologies for treating digester residues in China;
  • to drive the development and operation of reliable combined heat and power stations;
  • for German-Chinese cooperation in developing biogas fuel cells;
  • to participate in building up and operating district heating systems and micro gas networks for decentralized energy supply

The exhibition programme - Production and use of biogas:

  • Energy plants
  • Substrate treatment
  • Fermentation
  • Gas cleaning
  • Gas in-feed
  • Treatment and use of fermentation residues
  • Turnkey plants
  • Electricity generation, cogeneration of heat and power, heating/cooling technology
  • Ventilation, waste air and exhaust cleaning
  • Safety engineering
  • Controls and instrumentation
  • Services

The region

The city of Qingdao is situated in Shandong Province, nominated by the Ministry of Agriculture as pilot province for biogas development.
Over 700 medium and large-sized animal husbandry farms (with on average 1,000 cows, 10,000 pigs) are managed in Shandong. Animal waste products amount to 0.7 million tons a year and the rate of use is below 20 %.
In 2006 the first national pilot project for producing electricity from biomass with direct in-feed (25 million KW installed power) was set up by National Bio Energy Co. Ltd. in Shandong Province.
