CAHE 2012

The 10th China Animal Husbandry Expo will be held from 18 to 20 May 2012 at the modern Nanjing International Expo Centre. CAHE (China Animal Husbandry Expo) is organized by the China Agriculture Animal Association (CAAA) and is the largest specialist exhibition for all aspects of animal husbandry in China. This year it will occupy five exhibition halls, three multifunction halls and the conference centre.

As much as 80% of the exhibition space has been booked already since 1 September 2011. In some exhibition halls over 90% of the space for special fields such as e.g. the poultry breeding industry or animal welfare and safety –is booked already.

CAHE 2011

The 9th China Animal Husbandry Expo was held at the Qingdao International Exhibition Centre from 18 to 20 May 2011. Over 1000 exhibitors were represented on the exhibition floor space of 60,000 m², including 54 from outside China, and over 95,600 expert visitors from 30 different countries were recorded. CAHE 2011 became established as the largest animal husbandry exhibition in China.

Nanjing‘s international exhibition centre is just 20 minutes away from the city centre and has its own underground railway station. The Expo Centre also has first-class exhibition halls, advanced infrastructure, five-star service and offers perfectly interlinked and extensive catering and accommodation facilities.

The city of Nanjing

Nanjing in the Province Jiangsu is the second largest city in Eastern China after Shanghai. Nanjing means “capital of the south” and the city served as capital city times in the course of China’s history. It has the seventh strongest economy of all the cities in China. Nanjing has many interesting sights. For example its city wall is the longest preserved city wall in the world. The Purple Mountains with the Ming tombs and Fuzimiao (Confucius-Temple) are well worth a visit.

China Animal Agriculture Association

China Animal Agriculture Association (CAAA) operates on a national level. Its members comprise business enterprises, public institutions and individuals in the field of animal husbandry and related industries.
